Can I adapt am ABS brake system on my 3.8 V6 Mustang 2000?

Answer:

practically and safely with the expected performance, no. for it to be an effective system you would have to install the factory set-up, which would include changing axles, hubs, brake lines and adding hydraulic control unit, more brake lines wiring etc. this is your opportunity to upgrade to an 05-07 mustang or live with your standard braking system. my 05 GT has them and trac control and I don't recall ever having the abs engage, lots of trac control though, which I hate.
yes you can - it's about $650.00 in the aftermarket area to purchase - price does not include installation.
