No, I dont mean dancing! I have hardwood floors in my bedroom. I want to buy carpet, but the room is an odd shape. Is it easy to cut myself, and would I only need special scissors? Or should I pay to have someone do it for me?
Cutting the cheese helps me cut the rug... lol
you can cut it yourself but it's not the best idea as it can get messy, you'll end up with the rug coming to bits. go to a local carpet shop and ask them for the tape (not sure what its called) that will prevent this from happening. good luck

I suggest you pay someone to install the rug professionally, then you would have more time if you decided to actually, Cut A Rug. lol
The problem will be the edges, unless you are talking about carpeting the whole room. If it is just a rug, cut it carefully, and then bring it to a specialty shop to have the edges sewn. Any high quality rug store should be able to direct you there.
