Question:

Can you tell me about fabrics used for clothes? I want to describe vintage dresses correctly.?

I have some vintage dresses I want to list on eBay. Mostly I have dresses which appear to be from the 60s and 70sWhat are the different fabrics used in those eras? Where can find this information?

Answer:

Take a MSF course, pass it, ask your instructor for some guidelines (we all start out differently). Fear of Falling, that's the title of my next book. If prepared for the fall, you'll do alright!
4. to answer your number 4, i found alot in my area for cheap as 2,500. (craigslist) is a website good for buying used vehicles for cheap price, try to find one with 10,000 or less miles, it will run more smooth :)
cotton, polyester, rayon, terry cloth, silk, linen If you look on the tag it might say what it is .
polyester and rayon i think well thats wat my daddio says
It seems like most vintage is polyester. Usually the tag is missing or too worn to read. If it is a thick material it is probably polyester and vintage. Now they make it thinner. Personal experience buying on OKorder. I hate that fabric and now quit buying vintage. A few are cotton too.
