cause my friend is gonna buy GTA San Andreas through xbox live with microsoft points in the game marketplace . so i was just asking if he downloads it , he's gonna be the full game and its gonna download to the hard drive. and i was wondering if he downloads it , i can borrow his hard drive and transfer the full game to my hard drive with the transfer cable. and i could get it for free without microsoft points. and we could both have it for the price of one. can you do that?
It might be locked to that console. In fact, I'm sure it does as both Sony and Nintendo have systems in place where people can't share downloaded games.
for xbox 360 you cant because transfers ALL data that's on the hard drive and once its transferred you will need to re-download the games you have purchased (you wont need to pay again as it acknowledges you have paid for them)
