Question:

Capacity of brake system on a 97 Chevy Blazer?

Relatively how much brake fluid will I need to bleed the system on a 97 Chevy S10 Blazer, 4dr., 4x4, 4.3L V6, to change out all the old brake fluid with fresh stuff? I can‘t find the capacity of the system anywhere. I just need a good amount/number to go with to make sure I have enough for the whole system. Thank you!

Answer:

in case you have lost that plenty brake fluid already in basic terms kneel down and check out the returned of each brake rotor deliver jointly, there will be a moist fluid everywhere in the single this is leaking, brake fluid in basic terms would not dry up so this is going to be quite difficulty-free to work out, then take off that wheel and examine that slave cylinder, and replace it or rebuild it with a kit from the aspects shop
a QT . should do ya fine.good luck loosening all the 12yr old fittings.
Just buy a one quart bottlethat will be plenty for your needs. One quart costs less than $5.
