Just noticed that the carbon monoxide alarm is chirping every 30 seconds. I changed the batteries but the alarm is still chirping every 30 seconds. It is 1 am and a Saturday morning is it safe to just pull out the batteries to keep the alarm quiet until morning when I can have it checked?
