Question:

Ceramic plate in the microwave?

Can I use ceramic plate to heat food in the microwave? (say, 90° for 4 minutes). Will it break? I use ceramic glass to heat my milk and it doesn‘t break, but maybe that‘s because it contains liquid?

Answer:

Ceramic, Glass and Plastic are all microwave safe. Styrofoam works for about a minute. Aluminum and other metals are unsafe and will destroy it.
You asked an interesting question but dropped the ball after the word plastic. My question to you is plastic what? Stop leak additives don't seal plastic radiator end tanks, coolant recovery reservoirs or plastic intake manifolds.
For plastic repairs, use a quality 2 part epoxy on a cool engine or radiator. Few sealants work on plastic.
First, how do you set your microwave to 90*? That's a new one on me. Yes, you can use ceramics in the microwave, if they don't have any metallic paint or other decoration.
Ceramic can handle extreme temperature which is not metal, like the one that is used to bake allows you to put in an oven. so is safe to use in a microwave or the new hybrid type. Brembo brakes for formula racing are using ceramic material for their brakes because they handle extreme temperature without fading. Of course these ceramic are made different , but you get the idea
