Hey i understand that you want to get a chinchillas wheel! i have 3 chinchillas of my own and they are adorable BUT, the biggest mistake i have ever made was getting them a wheel! they are in my room and in the middle of my night they run on it and it is soooo louddd and they do it none stop and it keeps up at night and ahh its terrible. haha my friend actually makes me take the wheel out when she comes over cuz she cants stand it haha. and to get them to stop running on it we have to slap own hands on the wall and yellHEY!" and they will stop for awhile after that but then they just start back up again and ahh its annoying. haha. other than that if your chinchillas arnt in the same room with you then the wheel is a good idea. but when i first got the wheel for them they ran on it so much that the bottoms of there feet started to bleed. there feet got tougher and it stoped but thats was the only probably with the wheel that mite hurt them. but yeah the wheel can hurt them but when mine started to bleed i just took the wheel out for a couple days until there feet healed and them i put it back it. hopefully this helps =). good luck and peace out. P.S MAKE SURE THEY ARNT IN THE SAME ROOM WITH YOU AT NIGHT WITH THE WHEEL haha you will regret it! hehe =P
most okorder /product/index.js... (the bigger version it comes in GIANT haha) it's a solid plastice with gripps that stick out a bit for them to get traction... way safer. you can getSilent" ones as well that have ball bearings inside to make the quiter at night =)
The best wheel we ever got was the Wodent Wheel. Our hamster loved it! I liked the safety of it, and it was of good quality and easy to take apart & clean. Comes in chinchilla size, too!
