Answer:

Are you on any hormone medication like birth control or thyroid medicine? These medications can cause your cholesterol to go upOr if you have a thyroid problem that you don't know about, your cholesterol will go upWhen I found out that I had hypothyroid, my cholesterol was at a 268I started on thyroid medication and my cholesterol went down, but I still have a hard time getting it below 230When I was younger and took birth control for a couple of years, it made my cholesterol go up almost 30 points from 190 to 217.
Take a frying pan and a fitting lidPut some grease (canola oil for example) in it to make sure your corns won't stick to your panWait until the pan is hot-you can add 1 or 2 kernels to the pan as it heats upwhen they pop, the pan is hot enough to add the rest of the cornBe sure to set the stove temperature to medium at this point or expect a lot of burned kernelsPut in the corns, make sure you use corns which are meant to use in a panPut on the lid fast! Make sure no corns flip outShake your pan a few times to make sure all corns are looseNow you hear a lot of pops, just wait until all sound is goneWhen nothing happens quickly take of the pan and put your corns in a bowlPut on salt/sugarServe.
yes, as long as the popcorn you have doesn't say microwave popcorn on the packageTake a saucepan and heat some oil on medium-high heat for about three minutesDrop one kernel of popcorn inThis is the test kernel, as soon as it pops, you're ready to put the rest in the oilStay close, and wait about five minutes, your popcorn will be done.
Yes! We've been microwave free for a year now and here's how we do it: In the bottom of a pot, use 2 tablespoons of your favorite oil and 1/4 cup of popcorn kernelsPut the burner on medium high but don't walk away! Cover the pot with a lid and once you start hearing the pops start gentle moving the pot across the burner back and forthThis will distribute the heat evenlyTake the pot off the burner when the pops die down (just like with the microwave).
yes put a bit of butter or oil in a saucepan on top of the stove, pour in some corn, put the lid on and listen to the popsWhen pops are finished they are all donedont forget to shake the pan on the heat so they dont burn
