Question:

Coastal Scents Makeup Pallets?

Have you ever tried coastal scents makeup pallets? Are they worth it? Beauty gurus on youtube use them and talk about them a lot and I was thinking about buying one. Also which one do you like and reccomend the most? Thank you.

Answer:

In Canada, with CHEP's pallets, you can (sideways), put in 27 pallets (with a electric jigger) in a 48' Van, and 31 pallets in a 53' Van.
it will dependon the size of the pallets as they are not all 4 by 4,most new trailers are 102's,a 48 would have 24 max a 53 would have 26,this will be max in one level, you can double stack, this all depends on the load on the pallet.,eg if you have styrofoam containers you will have up to 52 palletts or 26 loaded double high,if you have drilling mud or car batteries you may only have 12 or 14 straight down the center, these numbers will also change due to the weight of the truck and trailer and extras your carrying.if you truck and trailer wieghs 30000 empty then you can haul 50000.if you unit is heavy then you haul less etc, stop by a shipping company, most of them keep pallet floor plans for there loading
The standard size for a pallet is 48x45. In a 53 foot truck you can fit 26 pallets in total, 13 on each side. double stacked that's 52. In a 48 foot truck its 24 skids, 12 on each side. double stacked that's 48. This is will all pallets loaded side ways. The pin wheel method is only worth doing if the load is double stacked and unstableand needs to be loaded tightly. If the load is stable enough loading them all on sideways is just fine and not so time consuming. Good Luck.
