1. It would take you longer than you think to MAKE a viable igloo, (on the Ice or anywhere). Understand, weather conditions have to be just right for the snow to stick together. I can tell you from experience that building an enclosed, full, igloo will take you AT LEAST 6-7 hours in the BEST of conditions. In other words, even if it IS legal it's an unrealistic endeavor. Besides. how could the State of Mn make you pay for a dark house license on an igloo? you know it's got to be illegal. (lol)
First of all, let me say that dreadlocks are very hard to start up and maintain, no matter what kind of hair you have. If you have straight hair, it will take forever to dread, so be prepared for that. You don't need to go to a salon, just twist your hair in small sections, the size you want your locks, and basically wait for it to lock. You can get some wax (they have some specifically for locking hair) just look in your local beauty store. keep twisting them, not like the first time, just use a little bit of wax and twist the loose strands around the twist and keep twisting the new growth. But be very sure that you want to have locks, because it's going to take a few months for your hair to lock. My cousin has kinky/curly hair and it took her hair like 3 months to lock, so yours would take longer. Plus they're hard to take care of (think of the delinting), and if you don't take care of them properly, they could fall out. Just take really good care of them and be patient. Good luck :) EDIT: If you need any help, or if you didn't understand what I was saying (I know its kind of confusing the way I said it..), you can email me.
