Question:

Do cured polymer pieces/charms have to be sealed before being placed in a mold with resin?

If so can varathane seal be used? Thank you!

Answer:

On the London Underground the trains have had a 'fail safe' since at least the 1930s and on touching a body (or anything else, like a shopping bag) would reopen. When I was much younger, and more foolish (?) I and friends would stand in the doorway and place out feet in the way of the closing doors, to make them open again - much to the annoyance of the guard (whihc the trains had in those days) Nowadays, all UK trains have failsafe doors, even those with slam doors like High Speed Trains, and the train cannot depart until all are properly closed.
how do you get to the 9 volt? I can't get into the control panel.
As far as simply being around them or handling a fully assembled weapon before it's detonated. You don't really need any kind of special safety gear. But I wouldn't recommend sleeping right next to one every night. They give off small amounts of neutrons. Over time the casing becomes slightly radioactive. The core is generally well-shielded enough to not be a concern, except for the neutrons. You could in theory take a bomb apart or assemble one (assuming you had all the parts of a complete weapon already) without safety gear, but the plutonium core is radioactive enough to be a danger. Nuclear weapons tend to be extremely heavy so you'd need an overhead crane or some kind of lift truck to move it around in the first place. Firing one, that depends on your method of delivery. If you're talking about launching some kind of nuclear-armed rocket or missile, you'd need the same kind of precautions that you'd need for any rocket launch. Mostly, protecting yourself from the noise and rocket blast. You'd either need to be a few hundred meters away, or inside an armored tank or bunker. If you're talking about a stationary weapon or something like a nuclear car bomb. Of course you'd want to get as far away from the blast site as possible and trigger it by remote control.
