Just put them straight onto the pan, I do it all the timeAs long as you give it a light spritz of nonstick cooking spray, they will slide right off and cleanup will be easy.
First, I would try waxed paper, then parchment paper sprayed with vegetable cooking spray (PAM), and if you have neither of those, the paper bag trick works pretty well.just watch them so that they don't get so overcooked that they start melting to the bag.Good luck and enjoy!!! Christopher
Can you spray the pan with Pam or give it a thin layer of oil? That will help to keep the mozzarella sticks from sticking, and make it easier to clean the pan tooAlso, if you have any parchment paper for baking - that will work.
