Someone has asked me to buy her a jacket as a giftI have found one that fits her needs, but it is made of taffetaI'm wondering if it will be OK for everyday useFor example, wearing a heavy laptop bag, etcOr will it be damaged easily?I'm submitting this question here rather than in fashion because I figure you guys will be more likely to know your fabricsThanks for any help.
It is the love - greed for - money that is the root of all evilMoney has no conscience or choice as to how it is usedMan makes that decision on his ownLook how many people are murdered for insurance money or in the process of an armed robbery for instance, look at the money that drug pushers and pornographers get their hands on without any thought to the consequences involved.and that is only the tip of the iceburg, so to speakChurches need money to do alot of God's work like like giving insist-ance to those who are impoverished and for spreading the gospelAdvertising costs, t.vtime costs, no matter WHO is using it.If I wanted to take out a full page ad, it would cost me.and I surely don't have that kind of money on my own.Wish I did, because I know just the ad I would take outIt takes about $100 to take out a small class-ified in one of the tabloids for just one week and MAYBE millions would see it - IF - they read the classifieds and not just h'wood gossip, etcMoney used in the right way is NOT evil, but good and neccessary, as to food and shelter and such.and gifts for people you love:-)
not reallyi'm not from boston, michigan, or minnesota, but for some reason, i tend to speak with an accent that jumbles all three togethermy friends make fun of me all the time for italso, the way i speak is apparently not inherently american at allhaha, it's quite sad reallyeveryone's always asking me where i'm from.and then i have to go and disappoint them with a lame statement of uh.right here? hahaha.
Yea my hispanic culture has shaped most of the aspects of my life3
Yes, I doI am from celtic origin and i have studied the celts alot.
Taffeta can be sturdy, but often not particularly hard wearing because of the heavier warp yarns and slick yarns typically used tend to let the fabric pull apart at the seams, a problem called seam slippage Does it come from a store like LL Bean that has a good guarantee? If so, I'd consider it.
