I'm in the Houston area and I am going to buy some furnitures from Ikeadoes their basic delivery take the furnitures to your front door or into the house/apartment? thanks
yeah of course, just take the number of yards the yarn that youre going to use divided by 1000round that number up to the next whole numberthat will be how many of that yarn youll needjust make sure that you can get the same gauge with that yarn, also make sure that the substitute yarn is the same weight.
You can use the same amt only if the thickness is the same works up to the same gaugeYou can use another brand, but you may have to adjust your needle size several times to knit to gaugeGood luck!
Usually there is something on the wrapper that says how many yards and the weight there is in the skeinIf they have the same amount of yardage the answer is yesIf you have any further doubt give me the brand and any further information and I will try to check and see if I can find it for youe-mail me.
I've bought a lot of furniture from IKEA and they delivered it into my apartment and even offered to unpackage it (I think the guy was just being nice at that point) For a $150 delivery charge they better pay someone to help I live on the second floor of a house so I am not sure what they do if you live in a highrise buildingThere should be a freight elevator if that is your caseThey do deliver into your home so just don't feel bad and tell them not to even if you live with or are a gladiatorIts their jobEnjoy your new stuff!
