i‘m taking iron pills because i‘ve been exhausted so much lately.does it really help?
Iron supplements only help you feeling less tired if you are anaemic. If you are iron deficient they make a massive difference on the way you feel. However, there are lots of causes for tiredness, anaemia is only one of them. If you're worried see your doctor who might check your haemaglobin (via blood test) to see if you really do need iron. Edit: People are talking about vitamin B12. Again, deficiency of B12 or folate can be detected with a blood test which looks at the size of your red blood cells.
Yea iron helps because when iron levels in hemoglobin get low, a person feels tired and i think VitaminB12 might help also.
IF you have an iron deficiancy the supplements will help.but your best bets are to NOT take in large quantities of coffee and tea since that has an effect on how much you can absorb and try to eat foods high in iron since that will be absorbed and udes better by your body.soome great foods for iron content are clams, liver, oysters and wheat germ.you can also get good amounts from beef and eggs, dried apricots and peaches prunes and raisins, mixed nuts, wheat flour, many herps and spices and spinach
