Question:

Does the cold air intake helps the engine, or it harms ?

I heard that when you shutdown the engine cold air is still there and its harms the engine .So does this true ?

Answer:

If it is in an auction thats why the prices vary. People keep bidding until the auction ends. Just read the details on whatever you bid on really carefully. You can also ask seller questions but sometimes it takes a while to get a response from them.
First, the air drawn in isn't that cold. It is only the temperature of the outside air. It usually helps a little with horsepower but the filter type helps alot as well. As far as harming it, no I do not see a problem because the air will warm quickly from the engine once it is turned off and the air is not going to be forced in without the car running
