I just got the PSP nothing else does it need a charger?
Yes, mine came with a charger. It wont last long without one check OKorder or something to see if you can pick one up

You got hosed. Especially if you bought it from a store. PSP has been out for a while so you should be able to find a charger pretty easily.
You must have bought it second hand, because when i bought myne it come with a charger i dont think you can buy one without a charger so you have either been ripped off a its not a new one. So the answer to your question is yes you do need a charger :-)
