I put a relaxer in my hair about once a month. My hair is really dried now. How can i make it soft again. Also i like straight hair but i have curly hair so thats why i put a relaxer in it. Is there an easier way of doing this?

Get your emt certification, then it gives you the best of both worlds. Most of our calls in the fire service are medical assists of some sort, but if you are a firefighter w/ your emt cert then you can do both!

Most fire departments with EMS run more EMS calls than fire calls. On some departments, EMS accounts for almost 90% of calls. It is getting so that firefighters need to have EMT training, preferably paramedic level, to perform what is most often required of them in the job. The traditional fire department is changing. You are more likely to go on medical and rescue calls than firefighting calls. To get a job on a full time fire department, get your paramedic training and license up. Most departments will hire you and then put you through firefighter training.
