Energy efficiency question for mobile home?

I live in an older mobile home, year 1973, with old aluminum sidingWould it be more beneficial to invest money in new vinyl siding and better insulation, or perhaps add insulation to the existing rubber coated roof and build a pitched roof for less heat loss in the winter, and to keep it cooler in the summer? Thank you for your answers.

First place to insulate is always the roof, in any kind of buildingHeat rises, so the ceiling and roof loses the most heat in heating seasonSame for keeping it cooler in summer, when insulation in the roof will let less heat transfer through from sun on the roofWhatever you do, use a decent amount of insulation if you use any at allCheck your local building codes for recommended R values for a ceiling but with insulation, it's hard to have too much in a roof.
