HiI just need help Yesterday my peugeot 607 2.2 hdi 2004 auto i had oil change airfilter, and diesel filter and also mechnic flush the oil as well when i pick up car and i drive my car about 5 miles oil temperature passed 90 and after 7 miles engine management.light on and on computer saying antipollution system defective I used oil. 5w 30w with my older oil. Oil temp stay around in blue line And i noticed this morning car bit harder to drive Before oil change everything was ok i change oil because i drove car with almost 8000 i usually change oil 8000 to 9000 Car mileage 117209

It is just a coincidence that the Engine Management Lt should come on after the servicing. Your mixture of different grades of oil does not do any harm to your engine. Have oil is better than no oil. The light is most reliable to inform you what is wrong with your car. One of the engine sensors has failed (or value is out of range). Read out this defect with your mechanic's diagnostic scantool, replace the faulty sensor, and delete the memorised fault. I believe your engine is healty as you change the oil regularly.
