Formation of natural gasConcise, easy to understand,
The formation of natural gas: according to the formation mechanism of natural gas can be divided into two types of organic origin gas and inorganic origin gas. The so-called organic genetic gas refers to the spread of sedimentary organic matter or combustible organic mineral (oil, coal and oil shale), in its diagenetic maturation, hydrocarbon in natural gas mainly formed by microbial degradation and pyrolysis, in terms of the extent of the research, nowadays found natural and most belong to the organic origin gas. Obviously, this is a very large type. By the foregoing description shows that the main effect factors according to the gas, can be further divided into biogenic biogenic gas (including diagenetic gas) and pyrolysis gas; the latter is the main body of the organic gas, but also according to different types of organic matter in the gas are further classified into: by organic matter (oil type I and type II kerogen) formation and oil associated gas generated by called oil type gas; and type III kerogen and coal accumulation of organic matter in the formation of coal metamorphism of natural gas is called coal type gas. In this way, the natural gas is divided into four basic types: biogenic gas, oil type gas, coal type gas and inorganic origin gas (table). The relationship between various types of organic origin gas and organic matter evolution.
Natural gas is mainly composed of C elements, is the remains of plants and animals in the earth's crust through complex changes
Natural gas and oil are formed together. The raw material of oil is the body of a living creature. The cells of a living organism contain fats and oils, fats and oils are made up of 3 elements, carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Biological remains of settlement on the seabed or lake was covered by mud after separation of oxygen, carbon and hydrogen is composed of hydrocarbons we have found more than 3000 kinds of hydrocarbons on earth, petroleum hydrocarbons which is formed by 350 or so, the hydrocarbon oil is lighter than natural gas. Coal and oil are similar in origin, but coal is a fossil plant, but also a large number of solid hydrocarbons produced by the rock known as "oil source rocks".
