I want to hang a curtain in my room to separate it into 2 different parts. I was wondering if there was a way to hang the curtains/fabric without drilling holes in the walls or damaging them. My landlord has strict rules about keeping the walls intact. thanks :)
I'd just hang them. The holes are so small all you need is toothpaste to fill them before you move, unless you're doing 2 holes.
tension rods will be your best bet even stores like walmart sell them and they can be joined together to get the length you need (also check out shower curtain rods if the space is not too large)
That's what I am going to do also, go get a good rod, and use shower curtain metal clips so the curtain will move smoothly. I love this look to seperate rooms.
Actually, there is NO limit to decorating. Just use caution. You want to really dress it up, so you don't just have curtains on the wall. Try putting the curtains/drapes around a mirror or shelving. Hope this helped, good luck!
Tension rods that are adjustable, i found mine at Lowe's, I divided my 2 girls room this way. I hung a curtain panel as a room divider, over a closet, in a doorway . Use 2 rods, , to create a canopy effect. Capped ends. 2 clearance. 3/4 rod diameter. I used one close to the ceiling to drape over to look as a canopy bed.
