Question:

hello i have a 1988 Lincoln town car, which Im problem with the brake system. can someone please help?

here is the problem when i apply the brake my car pull to the right.if somone out there know of some part on my car that may cause this problem please tell mewhen i apply the brakes the padel feel good it is not hard and it don‘t go to the floor

Answer:

your question makes no sence
the brakes need pads the right brake is braking as it should the left brake is not that is why the car is pulling to one side put it on jacks and look check the thickness of the pads look for leaks do this all four wheels if you do the work your self you will save hundreds ok.
if the car goes straight when driving before you touch your brake its not an alignment problem and its not a caliper. What's happening is one brake is not applying as much as the others. if it pulls to the right its a good chance its the left brake it could need bleeding, it could be a leak so best thing is to check all the brakes for wear and for leaks and then bleed the system and flush the system make sure the brake fluid is clean coming out of the bleeder screw.
Check the upper control arms of the suspension for torn bushings.Look under the hood right behind the air filter box.Push fender up and down and you will see it move. Are a stuck caliper piston. Air in the brake lines and good luck
