Question:

Help! The fire alarm in my house keeps going off, but theres no fire/smoke/carbon manoxide to be found!?

For the past couple days the fire alarms in my house keep going off for no apparent reason. We thought at first it was because we burnt something in the kitchen, but now it goes off every time we cook regardless of what's happening. Any ideas?

Answer:

two kinds of detectors one uses a photo cell to 'see' smoke, steam, heavy dust clouds the other uses an ionized particle detector. some detectors have both, and further still, some have both and the carbon monoxide detector. Did I already say, 'YES' to your question?
No it will not hurt the studs. Most GM cars have the open ended ones. Honda and most foreign cars have typically had the extended ones but its just personal preference really. Good luck on the swap!
