Hydrogen internal combustion cars burn hydrogen the conventional way using cylinders.Fuel cells, I find them ridiculous. It is like putting gasoline on a pure EV.Will internal combustion engines be obsolete soon? I hope not, also considering the vast amount of hardcore internal combustion engine fans.
Internal combustion piston engines are very inefficient. Huge amounts of energy are lost as heat and more is lost in converting reciprocal motion to rotational motion. Fuel cell technology to convert the fuel into electricity to power electric motors is far more efficient. But I agree with you! I'm a diehard petrol head too. They won't die in our lifetimes. Like steam engines for our (great) grandfathers
