The first photo is what was originally removed from the heating system. This is when we first bought the house. We we're unaware of this problem until it caused smoke. We had the motor replaced I cleaned up the lint etc....I have been keeping this unit in shape. As for filters this runs off of a ionic filter of some type it catches dust particals as they stick to metal wires. Easy clean up, just wipe it down.As for the water...Yes, water noise is new....I have never had a problem with a little water sound in the system before.
