First off, Ambrose isn't even close to being the biggest guy in The Shield. Rollins is 6'2, 219; Ambrose is 6'4, 225; and Reigns is 6'4, 265. So Reigns is the biggest guy. Ambrose is probably the one that does singles action for a few reasons: 1. Whenever The Shield breaks up, Seth Rollins will be the one to turn face. I guarantee that. Like someone else said, they won't have Rollins lose many singles matches right now because he's the one that WWE will ultimately want the fans to support when Shield breaks up. 2. That leaves Ambrose and Reigns. Ambrose has been wrestling since he was 15 years old. Reigns, although growing up related to people like The Rock, Rikishi, Umaga, Yokozuna, and his father Sika, only started wrestling less than three years ago after his NFL career didn't work out. So they probably pick Ambrose because of the experience factor, especially if he has to face someone like Daniel Bryan. Those two have faced each other tons of times over the past 10 years until they came to WWE.
