I live on the corner of two streets and we have an above ground pool in the backyard. On the side of the pool, which faces one of the streets, is the pool filter and heater. Since this area gets lots of water (us getting out of the pool soaking wet to turn on the heater or the water splashing out of the skimmer), weeds tend to grow like crazy! I want to find a way to shield that area from the road, but it still needs to be accessible to get to. Maybe a fence? But my husband will not use concrete, so something simple is best. Any suggestions??
Unless you have a gas leak, your dog will be just fine. I wouldn't worry about it. Just keep a carbon monoxide detector nearby. This is a good rule to follow even if you don't have a dog sleeping next to your water heating. Always be safe!
It's probably because he likes the warmth. Just put a nice bed there so he'll be comfy, and make sure the gas is vented outside properly.
If you have insurance, you may want to contact your agent and see about having professionals come in and clean the residue. They have access to chemicals to clean up homes after a Fire Ext. discharge or a fire. Your insurance may also help with the cost if you need to replace your oven.
