What pre-cautions do you take? Are you aware of all the hazards?
If you park in front of one you get slapped by the entire Buckeye Nation! And reasonably so.It's against the law everywhere.You probably get towed and pay heavy fine.
did you try calling the city or code enforcement.. maybe next time he is gone you can put bricks infront of the hydrant. in florida, they call public works dept for the city and they go out and reinforce things of that nature, they will even put up permanent markers so he cannot pull there. ** you could go to a payphone and report that a home is on fire, no access to the hydrant in the park due to a car being parked there. act histerical, give them the name of the park, and then scream and act like the line went dead. See how fast they get out there. When they get there act concerned and happy it wasn't a fire but, if there was this car would be a real problem.
Don't worry about the blockage. It is a hassle, but we have fun busting out the windows and sticking a hose through their car.
