There is no real way to test a flasher to find out if it's badJust go to AutoZone and get oneThey're normally $5 or less.
change the flashers ! you have 2 of them, 1 is for the emergency flashers and 1 for the turn signals !
check with your owners manual too but there are usually two flasher units under the dash one for e mergenct flashers and one for the turn signals( I usually go buy a heavy duty one and then look under the dash intil I find what looks like the silver thing in the box from the parts storea heavy duty one has metal insides for better heat distribution( instead of plastic) This works a lot better when towing a trailer or a boat.
