Question:

How do I preform pagan magic?

I want to get into pagan magic. Not as in pulling rabbits from hats. I mean the type where you draw a circle and draw a cross in the circle and write spells in each section.I know that to do that type you must write what you wish to happen.Example- I seek peace and happinessNow you'd take all the letters out that repeat. ( I, e, s, a, p, n ) and then you write the remaining letters in the 4 sections of the circle... ( im not sure if you go clockwise or what.) I want to know how to do this type of thing...please tell me anything you know about such magics Also I know some magics in the pagan religion can only be preformed by women.. I am male so please tell of that too.Thx

Answer:

i'm not really sure where you got your information but it isn't accurate at all. and you don't have to only be a female to do magick. i'm a male and yet i can perform spells as well. where you got the repeating letters i'll never know. so ummmm...i just suggest you read A LOT before you get yourself into anything. oh and i'm a male pagan. ;)
Where did you get your information? hollywood or from a Fluff Bunny? I do have some experience in the area you question about. I have been active in many various directions of Pagan religious beliefs, practices and magic for over 30 years. I hold Doctorates in religion and metaphysics. I am one of the leaders of a mixed Pagan group that meets on a US Air Base near where I live. I am an ordained minister and have sponsorship in order to be recognized by the military. I am serious in that I would like to know the basis for your ideas about Pagans and magic. I have seen people with more misconceptions than you seem to have. I would also like to know what you are honestly interested in and why. This is not the place to find answers to what you asked, at least not ones that are worth attempting. You may have been looking for something serious or just to see what response you get. If you are serious, mail me. I will answer but I am strict about things and accept responsibility for what I do so you will have to accept that. If you are serious I expect you to be honest. Let me know what you expect to happen also. Always remember there are consequences for what you do and that you will have to accept the responsibility for your actions. There are no confessions and forgiveness when you abuse this area and the repercussions may be harsh.
i actually know a damn lot about the kind of magic your talking about. way more than could ever fit on this page. so go do yourself a favor please and go to a bookstore and READ stuff from the new age, or metaphysical section or whatever they are calling it these days. there are MANY MANY MAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNYYYY differant kinds of magic, so you have to read till you find the right one for you. also, you cant just read it, do it, and expect it to work. in fact i would reccomend you dont try anything at all for a couple weeks or even months till you have read a lot of books, taken notes, and so on, so you dont screw stuff up. magic is real and not to be tampered with unless you know what your doing. so read. learn. take notes. try very small spells first to get the hang of what your doing. then gradually work your way into bigger stuff. if your considering learning a spell for one time use, dont. seriously, its bad news to cast a spell once and then never cast anything again, it shows a serious lack of belief and respect for the practice of spell casting
dedication frequently only happens in a faith, Magic, even regardless of the indisputable fact that it is carried out religiously, it is tied to any faith and would desire to technically be carried out via all and sundry who's commonly used with what they are doing. so a techniques as testing... in all probability not the appropriate concept. Dabbling in magick isn't risk-free till you extremely understand what you're doing. Do greater analyze earlier attempting something and don't do any spells to injury human beings or something. Oh, and as for explaining magick - magick is relatively the act of keen capacity to do something you desire it to do. It does not continually paintings or paintings in the way you desire it to, whether it is relatively powerful. wish that helps slightly... x
I always cringe when I spot these questions. I'm assuming your very young, but when you are much older, study Aleister Crowley. Then you will might understand what Magick is. Paganism isn't magick. Paganism is a number of pre-christian religions. Its about honouring the gods, not self-benefit.
