I don't see how it can help now, the clothes have been used for months, even years and washed how many times. There was a woman on the news who owns her own little clothing business. She makes shirts. It is going to cost her $50,000 to have these clothes tested and it will put her out of business, she is barely making a profit now.
Are you referring to the bolt that is at the top of the hydrant? I don't knowdo you get tons of snow where you live that might actually be high enough to cover the hydrants? Maybe it's something that is high enough to let the firemen know where the hydrant is if the snow is burying it.
