If he's under 5 years, switching him to a good quality dry kitten food should improve his stools (and health) as the higher protein and fat content is more suitable for ferrets than cat foodsOlder ferrets, 5years +, can be on the cat food version but again, dry kibble foods are betterCheck the ingredients listing, they should be very low in carbohydrates and sugars but high in protein and fatsA mainly kibble diet with some wet food mixed in should help.
