Question:

how do you judge if an element is a metal or non-metal?

if the number of protons, electrons and neutrons are given, is it possible to judge if an element is a metal or non-metal? (p=17, n=18, e=17) i know that this is chlorine and that chlorine is a non-metal but is there any other way ???

Answer:

Well..i am listening metal for 2years and i like lots of bands,my favorite bands are probably traditional bands like Priest(Painkiller is my favorite song ever,.everything about that song is perfect),Maiden,Accept,Saxon(All Hell breaking loose.havent heard something as catchy and heavy as this song!)I also like thrash:Slayer,Destruction,Evile, early Sepultura(Beneath the Remains is the best thrash album ever!),Testament,Exodus..folk metal:Ensiferum,Moonsorrow(please listen to the song Sankaritarina and try to tell me that that song isnt a masterpiece!!) Melodic Death Metal:Amon Amarth,Arch Enemy,Insomnium...i dont like brutal death like CC..but i somehow adore Nile. uld it be because of the Egyptian atmosphere..haha havent seen that you mentioned Metallica..do you hate them?I hope not..they are a band which got me into metal(first metal song i ever heard was The Day that Never Comes..) cheers my friend.:))))))).stay heavy!!! Btw..last week i discovered Doro Pesch, man...she has to be the most beautiful woman in rock-metal industry!!!!!!!
