Answer:

sounds like it could be a rear brake rotor warped or worn out, or a pair of very worn out shocks!!!!! i would take your NISSAN to a local LES SCHWAB TIRE CENTER!! They will check the rear end for free, and will try to find the problem!!!! THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY!!!!I HAVE HAD GREAT LUCK WITH THEM!!!!!!
Since your pilot light will not light then most likely your burner will not come on and put out any heat. Since the pilot light will not light there should not be any gas coming out because it is designed to shut the gas off when the pilot light goes out providing it is working correctly. If you have tried to light the pilot and it will not light the problem is most likely a tiny bit of dirt in the line or the thermocouple is bad. You will need to call a service tec to come out and check the furnace out and make sure everything is ok and they can repair whatever needs repaired. Look in the local phone book for a HVAC company under heating and air companies. I would not call the gas company unless it is something from the gas meter back towards the street. Anything past the meter towards your house is your line and they will charge you ten times what they should. Just call a heating and air company that has HVAC in their listing and they can fix you up and have the heat back on in just a few minutes.
UNSURE I AM SURE OF ONE THING YOU SHOULDNT BE ANSWERING THESE QUESTIONS. there was no mention of gas smells, and the gas company will not come to your aid unless your on their program, know what your talking about !!! i agree with kippy , call a service tech and get your heat back on.
