Wa alaikkumussalam. You are as pure as a just-born child. Your question is well answered by Judy and all above. If you need help in how to pray i will let u know step-by-step Insha Allah. Just remember PRAYER is the difference between Muslims and Non-Muslims. And our prophet Muhammad sallahu alayhi wassallam told Pray as you have seen me praying. Dua is the head of all our prayers/supplication with Allah. Ask RABBI ZIDNI ILMA = ?????? ??????? ??????? O my Lord! Increase me in knowledge. 20:114

Wa alaikum salam wa rahmatullah. You are welcome as a new repert to Islam I can give some advices to you (1). You must continue to recite the Qur'an and understand it and also the sahih hadith wroitten by Imam Bukhari and Muslim.(2)You must practise mandatory salah or prayer on time 5 times a day in arabic language after wudhu,so you must memorize surah Al Fatihah and another surahs such as An Naas,Al Falaq and Al Ikhlash.(3) You can make dzikir or reminding Allah every day by saying subhanallah, alhamdulillah, allah hu akbar and laillah ha ilallah each at least 33 times (4)You can make du'a in your own language or in arabic because there is no obligation that du'a in arabic only Du'a is included in ibadah or good deeds.Du'a is a direct communication between you and Allah It is usually made after you finish your prayer. You are free to ask for anything or submit supplication to Allah in line with your own niyat or intention by raising your both hands up besides your ears and infront of your face by saiying ya Allah',Oh God,Ya Robb etc After you finish saying du'a you should say ameen In fact in salah or prayer we make du'a too if you understand the meaning of all 7 verses of Al Fatihah which should be read in every raka'at of our prayer.
