How do you turn off the check engine light on a Mazda Protege? My model is a Protege5 (2002), but I‘m assuming they would all be the same.
Code reader can clear the code. See if your local auto parts will do it for you. Keep in mind clearing it doesn't fix what caused the issue and you won't pass emissions by having a reader just reset the system. Once the system cycles through to a test ready status, your light will just pop right back on again if you haven't made the repair/adjustment.
Take the tire in to have the nail got rid of and the hollow patched. Assuming that the nail is interior the tread, and not interior the sidewall, the tire could be repaired. the two a plug would be used, or the tire could be dismounted and patched on the interior.
i think of one among your sensors is toast. yet once you verify your oil conventional and have it serviced conventional it won't be a concern. in any different case in case you have the money take it to a mazda broker and have them replace the sensor/module. lights furnishings on a splash can force you loopy exceptionally whilst the passengers constantly deliver it up.
I once tried fitting a pressure tank with an automatic sensor to my tire in case of a leak, worked great until I wanted to ride the damn thing, the tank got caught on the swing-arm, went sideways and bent twenty two spokes. You learn trying, I guess.
take a picture of your girlfriend and just put it right there over the light. that way u wont have to see that check engine light. unless you would rather look at the light then her. lol. no serious, take it to autozone or some place like that and let them hook it up for free, and see what is causing it.
