If the fire department has an extra one that they can replace it with, it will be about $1,500 for the hydrant. Now add the cost of all of the water that was lost. Yeah.ouch.
Yes it probably will set off the detector.Just temp. remove the batteries or flip breaker fuse that controls that circuit. be sure to reconnect after bombing. However you will be wasting your time and $ on a bomb for fleas. I am an exterminator and I can tell you that it won't be effective.
Best to get a little of everything at first until you find what works for you. Its always nice to have at least a few long sleeve onesies on hand just in case. You wil lneed the short sleeve onesies regardless of the weather, they are good for layering. I always use cotton. Lots of sleepers,a few pairs of pants and socks. Different variates of sleepers, a few fleece, a few cotton etc. Keep in mind that its not recommended to put a blanket on the baby when they sleep so you may have to layer him/her up to keep warm or swaddle. The sleep sacks are great too. I know what you mean by not really having a winter baby I am in Southern CA and it was 85 degrees yesterday! My daughter is still in summer clothes!
