i jus want to put on two of them, but i heard it's 55$ each tire at the shop
Perhaps you should have asked your supervisor if there was something he/she needed help with instead of playing on the internet on company time. They were not paying you to check your personal email and surf the internet. As for a lawsuit, whey would you do that? To get free money because you're now without an income? How could you be OK with doing that? You lost your job because you were caught screwing around on company time. You have no one to blame but yourself.
Gas pipes are strange things to say the least. You may actually have the wrong size connector. Is this one that came with the heater or did you just go buy one or reuse an old one. I would take down the info on the heater, turn off the gas and bring the pipe to the hardware store and ask the guy there if you have the right pipe. One time I had a pipe that was the wrong size and it leaked. To test the pipe buy some kids bubbles or make a mixture of dishwashing soap and water to test for bubbles. if in doubt turn it off, it can kill your family.
First of all, where were you employed? The local law will determine a lot of things. If you were employed in an at will state in the US, the company can fire you for any reason, or no reason at all. Second, does the company have an internet usage policy? If you violated the policy, then yes, they can fire you without any warnings. Not every job will give you a warning for anything that might cause you to get fired. You are expected to know and follow policy, and know and follow proper workplace behavior. Third, they shouldn't have to disable internet access if someone is too immature to monitor his own behavior. You screwed up on the job, it's an employer's market right now, your company can get someone else to replace you in a day's time, unless you are exceptionally skilled at something. Learn from this, and don't goof off at your next job, if you're bored, ask for another task. The company is NOT paying you to access your own personal favorites or surf the web for your own amusement. They are paying you to work for THEIR benefit.
lmfao no. Most likely in some of the paper work you signed when you were hired the no internet rule was in there. You got caught goofing off, just suck it up and take responsibility. As far as your I'm disabled so I need the internet plea you might as well give it up. If it even got to an actual court room the judge would only laugh in your face.
Yes you can get fired on the basis of violating Internet Usage Policy. But you should get at least 3 warnings prior to that. But in some instances you can get fired straighaway(like visiting porno websites), but in your case I don't see the point.
