Question:

How to clean up fur and poop?

My son had a party in our apartment when we came home there was fur and poops stains all over our furniture.

Answer:

When I moved in with hubby, he owned 5 cats and his sofa was just gross with cat hair. Yuck! The best method I found to remove it is to first take a damp washrag and wipe it over the fabric. This will remove much of the heavier stuff. After that, take strips of wide, really sticky tape-I used the clear, wide packing tape, but really any wide tape would workand pat it all over the fabric to pick the remainder up. The lint rollers tome don't work so well because one roll over and it's covered and you have to stop and tear it off. I am a bit OCD about mt house and especially about pet hair, too so I know exactly what you mean! It's gross! LOL
I don't think it will oxidate if you just keep it out of the sun. I'm not a chemistry major though (just a student :)) pedia says Often discoloration and loss of gloss accompany photo-oxidation. High temperature and stress concentration are significant factors that increase the reaction rate of photo-oxidation.
