its my first time lubing my bike chain and i ended up with a lot of grease on my back tire, what can i do to get it off the tire? im kinda scared to go riding now. any advice?thank you guys.
go to the hardware store and get a can of mineral spirits just wipe em down . not a bad practice to get into regularly on the rear anyway, i suspect alot of people low-side from chain fling and probably tire cleaners and shiners to, mineral spirits will take it all off
Simple alcohol will do the trick no bleach it blemishes aluminum and eats chrome, then after you do it take some sand paper and scrub the sides of them and wipe em off again. Make sure you clean the under tail above the tire and the side frames on the inside also in case there is an excessive amount .
Spray degreaser and soap and water.
