how to maintain motorcycle brake?
dont used them much and replace pads before them wear out use front more than back work back and front together drag your feet more not sure what you mean not much to it you use them to stop you replace them when wore out use the front a bit more than back
Teknodog and guardrailjim are right. Engine braking combined with good maintenance habits will preserve your brakes. Don't use the cheapo pads either. Double H Sintered
Clean the pads/rotors, or shoes/drums monthly with Contact/Brake Cleaner. Brake dust and road debris gets embedded in the brake material, score the brake surfaces and ware everything unevenly. Hydraulic brakes - change the brake fluid yearly.
replace brake pads when they become thin. Replace brake fluid once a year. Moisture will cause the fluid to go bad. Bleed the brakes to remove air. Check for wet , dirty spots around the brakes. This indicates a leaking problem.
don't okorder bine with engine braking technique use dot4+ fluid, get better master cyl. and braided SS lines...bleed them from time to time if needed
