when I drive it uphill it looses power but when I drive straight on and downwards it is fine .Can anyone tell me what might be the reason why my truck looses it‘s power going uphill even if I step on the gas pedal the velocity still same and if possible be more specific , thank you I really would appreciate it ?
Check fuel filter if the 6.7 they have many issues with the early models it still should be under warranty. Turn key switch on off 3 times leave on not starting see what the read out is in the speedo area. check on line for the code.
its probably still under warranty take to your dealer,unless you have a scan tool and the knowledge you will never fix it.
If the engine light is on then your computer is showing a problem in the system you will need to run a code check.Check with your local auto parts some will run the code scan for free as long as you buy the parts there if not you can buy cheap code readers under 30.00 if you take it to a shop here in California they will charge you 65.00
