I insert the card into the reader and plug it into my computer and wait. I have also looked in my computer, and tried to find it all over the place. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Go the card reader company's website and download the driver if you are using an older system but if you are using a newer operating system like Vista or 7 I don't see this being the problem. If on a newer system return the reader or exchange it for another one. Also check to see if any lights come on when plugged into your computer to make sure the USB slot your sticking it in is catching the device and providing it with power but as I said before if you are sticking it in and nothing is happening it's faulty hardware. That's what she said.
Did it come with a cd? If not then maybe the company may have a website where they may have instructions and driver that you need to install if they are available.
