Question:

I have a leak in my brakes somewhere?

I‘m losing brake fluid, I have a Lincoln town car. Is it really expensive to fix if it‘s a leaky caliper or a leaky wheel cylinder? I need to know how much I should expect to spend.

Answer:

Why are you so pressed to do this yourself? Costs very little to have your transmission fluid changed by a Meineke or Pepboys (and you can even buy the fluid of your choice for them to put in there). Also, in GM vehicles there is no need to have the transmission fluid changed unless you get a prompt on the dash or feel grimey shifting.
The right way to do it is to take it to a shop to have the transmission flushed on a pressurized machine. The wrong way to do it is to just pull the transmission pan and let it drain, then top off. The former method removes all the old fluid but has to be done at a shop. The latter method can be done at home but only gets out about half the old fluid.
Your question is too vague, there are so many things it could be that there isn't any kind of answer to give not to mention that they made town cars for a long time now!
DON'T GO TO A PLACE LIKE VALUE BRAKES THAT JUST FOR PADS ANYWAY NOT THE COST OF REPLACING WHEEL CYLINDERS OR CALIPERS YOU NEED SOMEBODY TO CHECK EXACTLY WAHT IS WRONG OR YOU WILL END UP SPENDING MORE MONEY THEN YOU NEED TO
a good mechanic such as myself would inspect your entire brake system put the car up on a lift more than likely on a lincoln the lines are rust corroded and most all brake parts need to be replaced. cost could run about $400.00 to $800.00 depending if you need rotors calipers pads lines /etc
