What is the purpose of wrapping the tires, are they pre-heating the tires or what? Just curious. No time to go to race track and ask the guys.
They are wrapped in electric tyre warmers so that the rubber is at the optimum operating temperature to give maximum grip. Once the car/bike is racing the movement of the tyre on the track keeps up the temperature.
As others have mentioned, working a vehicle tire on a bike is an particularly undesirable theory. the form is extremely diverse as a results of fact the forces exerted by a bike are completely diverse than the forces a vehicle demands. I even have heard human beings say issues like, this is in basic terms a cruiser - i'm no longer dragging my knee around corners. ok, yet you're nonetheless leaning the bike at something over parking-lot speeds. it somewhat is a tension that the motor vehicle tire isn't meant to handle. I even have heard, my buddy did it for 60,000 miles, and it exchange into nice. Your buddy have been given fortunate. motorcycles place self assurance in 2 tires to furnish traction. If a million fails, you're in lots greater hassle than if a million fails on a vehicle. Why danger your existence to shop some money? a great set of bike tires is below $two hundred. How lots is it going to cost to repair you and your bike if the motor vehicle tire fails?
I agree with Del Piero 10. If they fix the tires onto the motorcycles and leave them around, then the tyres cool off. Cold tyres offer lesser grip and it becomes a problem when the riders go out on track with them. So they keep it at optimum temperature so the rider can make maximum use of the tyre without having to wait for a lap or so for the tyres to warm up.
If it didn't turn on or didn't turn off then you could have an electircal switch problem, or if you could turn it on and then when you turn it off it stays there every time. Change the relay, if it doesn't fix it, change the motor.
