i am looking for a transmission for my 96 ford wind star
well my tank has a had this problem but i used seachem ph. regulator or somthin it has worked best for me
I would not recommend a used transmission for a Windstar, they are know for early failure. Unless you are just looking to get it running to sell you should bite the bullet and get it rebuilt. That is the only way to get any appreciable mileage out of it without going through this again very soon. If your going the just get it running to sell route, a wrecking yard will normally give a 30 day guarantee on a used one, long enough to sell it. Good Luck!
