I need to cut off my copper pipe and re-do it to attach to a flexible tube. The directions reccomend a 3/8 in flexible copper tube to connect to a device that will convert it to a fitting that converts it to a 3/4 inch fitting. Do you have any roccemdations? on how to do this? Thanks in advance.
Have you thought about mounting it between 2 pieces of uv glass? You could then leave a slot in the frame to insert a background of any colour (will you still have the same burgundy theme in 5-10 years?). It wouldn't matter about the archival quality of the background because it wouldn't be coming in contact with the heirloom piece. It would be a whole lot less hassle to change decor or rooms. Good luck!
You will probably want to use uv plexi (instead of glass), due to size and weight. The glass will be too heavy for the frame and bow out the corners or worse. cotton is archival. Can you wash it before you use it to make sure it doesn't bleed? Spacers would keep the plexi from touching the antique crochet. They are inexpensive and easy to apply- they can be purchased at a ny decent frame shop. You will almost certainly want to use a thick metal frame, but if you use plexi you could use a wooden frame, it will just be very expensive.
If you have to ask here, you should hire a plumber.
Dishwashers are not that difficult to install but can be confusing at times. I could tell you what you need but you would be better off going to a hardware store or home improvement center. Tell them exactly what you need to do and they will be able to point you in right direction. I don't know if you are cutting into an existing pipe or cutting one back. If you need to do any soldering, Below is a link where you'll find some tips on how to solder copper pipe. Good luck Hope it goes well
