Question:

I went over a speed bump at 30mph, now speedometer isn't working?

So I was driving home and didn't see a speed bump. I hit it at around 30mph, and now my speedometer isn't working at all. It stays on 0mph. Could anyone let me know what has happened, and how much you think it would be to get it fixed? The car is a 1998 Peugeot 306.

Answer:

Are you REALLY so stupid that you don't know your left from your right? Maybe you shouldn't be driving a car at all.
Well it good to see you were prepared, I presume the fire was extinguished, so ????? Oh, oh it a guessing game. !st off, now that you have broke the seal on the firer extinguisher, you will need to get it recharged by a Professional, or thrown away and replaced, (sound like a good kitchen Item) 2nd, your wondering if the power of the extinguisher is toxic? Lets just say it not healthy. Wash all pots pans and utensils, dispose of any food that came direct contact, and thoroughly wash all counter tops, floors, and walls, with a normal cleaning solution. Rinse well. 3rd, invest in a How to cook without fire book.
Just plan on spending AT LEAST a grand or more.and that's the cheap kind. Hydro's are expensive!
OK when you sit in the driver seat look at your hands. Which is your left hand? slap No the left hand. Why? the car is based on where the driver sits. So right hand right side (passenger) Left hand (driver side). Now do we have to tell you where the rear of the car is? Why alot of cities banned studded tires. It tears u the roads, rough ride and lousy MPG. It would be almost better if you had all season or SNOW TIRES. It would save you in comfort and MPG.
Depends on whether you're in the UK or North America.
